  • Sensitives and empaths who feel everything and were never taught what to do with it

  • Anyone whose development has stalled, and who suspects the reason isn't spirit

  • Students who want their inner work and their spiritual work to blend cohesively together

No prior experience with parts work, therapy, or psychology is required.

PLEASE NOTE / DISCLAIMER

This is an educational and experiential course in self-awareness and inner development for people doing spiritual work. It is not therapy, and it is not diagnosis or treatment for trauma or mental illness.

Instructors:

Medium Michael Mayo & Associate Therapist and Medium Maranda MacDonald

Dates: 8/23/26 - 9/27/26

Day: Sundays

Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Pacific Time

Duration: 6 Weeks

Anyone who has spent time in spiritual development knows that the work doesn’t always stay inside the development circle. Old grief surfaces, relationships shift, or something you thought you’d healed returns.

And when it happens, it rarely announces itself as a wound. It shows up as a block in your mediumship, or a heaviness you can't quite place, or a link that won't build the way it used to. Most of us have been taught to push through those moments, or to assume we simply aren't disciplined enough in our spiritual practices.

But the truth is usually much gentler than that. Somewhere inside you, a wounded part has been carrying something for a long time, and it has quietly decided that opening up all the way is not safe. It isn't in your way because it wants to hold you back. It's in your way because, once, staying small was how you survived.

This is the work almost no one teaches. We learn how to sit in the power and how to build a link, but we're rarely shown what to do when our own histories, stories, and wounds are the thing standing between us and the spiritual connection we long for. So the parts stay hidden, shaping our development from a place we can't see. And until they're met, no technique quite reaches them.

Over six weeks, co-taught by Medium Michael Mayo and Associate Therapist and Medium Maranda MacDonald, you’ll learn what those parts are, how to find the safe place in yourself to meet them from, and how to work with them. Each session builds on the last, and by the end, you’ll have a map of your own inner world and a practice you can keep for the rest of your development.

Module 1: All Parts Are Welcome

In this first session, you'll be introduced to the idea everything else rests on: you are a spiritual being having a complex human experience. You have many parts to you. There's the part of you that steps forward when someone needs help, the part that goes quiet in a room of strangers, or a part that pushes you to be better and never once says “well done!” Each of them arrived at some point for a reason, and each has been with you ever since.

You'll also meet the principle that governs this whole course: all parts are welcome. You would never turn a spirit away for being angry, or grieving, or unfinished. We will learn to extend that same welcome inward — which is harder than it sounds, but changes more than you'd expect.

In this opening module, you'll:

  • Discover why you're naturally made of many parts, and why this is health rather than damage

  • Dispel the common myths about “inner work”

  • Understand the difference between having a feeling and being taken over by one

  • Begin noticing which parts of you show up most often, and when

  • Start your Inner Map, the personal record you'll build across all six weeks

Module 3: How to Work With a Part

In Module 3, you’ll learn how to work with your parts. Notice. Unblend. Turn toward. Ask. Listen. Don't be in a hurry to change anything.

The hardest invitation is the last one. Every part you meet has been trying to do a job that protects you and keeps you safe. In this module, you'll learn to meet these parts differently. You'll move from the question that shames—"What's wrong with you?"—to the question that heals: "What happened to you?"

Here, you'll:

  • Learn the full sequence for meeting and working with a part, step by step

  • Practice “unblending” with your parts

  • Discover why fighting a part always makes it stronger

  • Understand what each part is protecting, and what it's afraid of

Module 5: The “Wounded Healer” Archetype

For sensitive souls, wounded parts usually share a similar history. Maybe you learned to read the room before you could name what you were reading. Or perhaps you knew things children aren't supposed to know. And somewhere along the way, you learned what it cost; being told you were imagining it, being told to stop, being told it was dangerous or unwelcome in your family's faith.

So you might have learned to doubt what you sensed, to hide what you knew, or to fold the wide-open parts of yourself into something smaller and safer. It was never that your sensitivity was too much — it was that the world around you had no room for it. And the parts that carried it went quiet, waiting for a place where they might finally be witnessed and believed.

In this module, you'll:

  • Explore your own history as a sensitive child, gently and at your own pace

  • Look at religious and family wounding around intuitive experience, and how it still echoes

  • Understand why insight alone changes nothing, and what actually does

  • Discover the incredible power of lovingly witnessing

Module 2: The “True Self”

Now that you can recognize a part, you need somewhere to stand while you meet one. This session introduces Self Energy — not another part, but the truest thing in you. You may have called it your soul or spirit. This is the still, luminous core of you that has never been broken and never needs fixing.

You'll learn its qualities, learn to find it deliberately, and learn to feel the moment you lose it. You will also discover how mastering Self energy mirrors sitting in the power and strengthens your spiritual development.

In this module, you'll:

  • Discover Self energy — what it is, how it feels in the body, and why it isn't a mood you have to manufacture

  • Learn the bridge between sitting in the power and Self energy, and why you're already fluent in it

  • Learn the qualities that tell you you've found it, and recognize the signals that you've lost it

  • Practice returning to Self, gently and repeatedly

  • Experience a first guided contact with a part, from Self

Module 4: The Parts That Arise in Development

Now you'll turn the method toward the work itself. Anyone who has sat in a circle knows the cast: the one who compares, the one who's certain they'll get it wrong in front of everyone, the one who fills a silence with detail, or the one who goes completely blank the moment attention lands.

Very often something in you has shut the door: a part that got frightened, or was humiliated once and swore never again. And we'll look honestly at how spiritual language itself becomes a guard. Raise your vibration. Only love and light. That's just your ego.

In this module, you'll:

  • Identify the parts that appear specifically in circles, classes, and practice readings

  • Understand plateaus and blocks as protection rather than something wrong in your spiritual development

  • Recognize spiritual bypassing: how genuine teachings get used to silence rather than transform

Module 6: Your Inner World

In this final session you'll bring your Inner Map to completion. The aim was never to clear these parts out or quiet them down — it's to have them known, welcome, and no longer working your connection from the subconscious.

You'll look at how this work sits alongside your relationship with your guides and your continuing development, and leave with a daily practice that asks the same discipline as sitting in the power, turned toward the ones who live in you.

In this module, you'll:

  • Assemble your completed “Inner Map”

  • Explore how parts work and your relationship with your guides inform one another

  • Establish a daily practice that keeps you turned toward your parts, with the same discipline you bring to sitting in the power

  • Learn to recognise when a part is working your connection from the subconscious, and how to gently bring it back into the light
