Workshop: An Introduction to Spirit Art in Mediumship w/ Christine Parkin A practical delve into the wonderful world of spirit portraiture. This is a fascinating aspect of mediumship that is undertaken by so few yet provides irrefutable evidence for the continuance of life. Loved ones who have passed on just want to be remembered and what better way than ‘posing’ for a picture? Usually when they were in their prime and ‘looking good.’ Spirit art sketches hold an energy that connects the recipient with the person in spirit, making them even more precious, and an absolute joy to give. Discover your own innate abilities and develop a relationship with Spirit in a safe, supportive environment. In this workshop you will: · Understand the difference between Psychic art and Spirit Portraiture · Be introduced to the Pioneers of Spirit Art · Learn how to draw the basic structure of a face · Develop simple techniques to produce a likeness · Experiment with different materials · Let go of inhibition and trust in the process · Gain confidence in drawing for Spirit I look forward to sharing my knowledge and understanding of working with Spirit to help you develop your own, unique skills. You may have something entirely new to bring to the world of spirit art and mediumship. Basic materials A4 & A3 Drawing paper Drawing board (or Easel) & Bulldog Clips Selection of pencils - suggest HB, 2B, 4B, 6B Pencil sharpener Putty eraser Tortillions (blending sticks) Coloured pencils Soft Pastels (optional) Charcoal sticks (optional) 12” Ruler Notepad and pen Wet wipes - to clean your hands! About Christine Parkin CSNU: Christine is an accredited medium, spirit artist, adult teacher, and multi-disciplined therapist based on the south coast of England. Honing her esoteric gifts on platforms at home and abroad for almost twenty years, she has developed a unique style of delivering accurate, heartfelt evidence of the continuance of life through her mediumistic communication and ability to sketch the likeness of someone in spirit.
